Experts: Women deliver healthy babies post-treatment for breast cancer

According to experts, women who underwent treatment for breast cancer during their pregnancy period gave birth to hale and healthy babies. Experts from the Royal College of obstetricians and gynecologists say the case of breast cancer with young women is rare, however those women who undergo breast cancer treatment during their pregnancy and others who get conceived post-treatment are found to give birth to healthy babies.
 
Speaking about women who give birth to babies after treatment for breast cancer, an expert says it is very rare for women to face breast cancer during pregnancy. In such rare cases, when a woman gets breast cancer, it will distress them and put them under a terrific zone. The affected woman will be given complete focus and care throughout the course of pregnancy and the baby is delivered in a healthy manner. He also added that chemotherapy is not recommended to pregnant women with cancer during the first 13 weeks of pregnancy. The success rate of treating breast cancer in pregnant women is significantly increasing, he pointed.
