Many perfumes holds implicit chemicals that may have sober health connotations, as per the latest report stated by two environmental activism groups.

To crop up with the report, the two groups’ assigned standalone laboratory testing that acknowledged many potentially harmful chemicals in cologne products such as ‘Acqua Di Gio’ and ‘American eagle’s Seventy Seven’.

As per the report, both hold ‘lilial’, an allergen that may stimulate estrogen-like impacts in the body, and ‘benzyl salicylate’, an allergen and also many other chemicals, says the experts.

Any perfume in your house that reeks like a rain forest or a strawberry patch or a pine tree will definitely have these chemicals in them," sniffs chief director of Environmental Defence, which issued the report along with California-grounded Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.

Many recent perfumes including ‘Dolce & Gabbana`s Light Blue’ fragrance holds many chemicals including ‘butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)’, an additive and stabilizer that has been linked with adverse effects on the thyroid and is a potential carcinogen.
