Is it OK to drink hot water after meals?

There are several opinions about drinking hot water after meals!

The digestion system organs in our body generate some enzymes and acid to facilitate digestion.

Hence, medical experts advise that we should drink water only after 15 to 20 minutes after taking meals.

Doctors inform that taking warm water meals is good for the heart.

Warm water aids digestion process and also prevents production of cancer cells.

Hence, doctors recommend drinking warm water soup after meals.

Taking cold or chilled water after meals has adverse effect on our body. Most of us have the habit of taking chilled water from the fridge immediately after meals!

Taking chilled water immediately after meals solidifies the oil particles leading to problems in digestion system while increasing the harmful fat content in the body.

If the habit of taking chilled water is continued, it may lead to problems related to heart & kidney.

Especially heart patients MUST avoid taking chilled water after meals. They should take only warm water. Warm water is better for health.
