The main reason for this is sedentary lifestyle and obesity. In India, the men’s waist length should be 90 centimetres and the women’s waist length should be 80 centimetres. If this is more than the mentioned, it means that person is suffering from obesity. People who migrate from villages to city get affected with diabetes. The reason for this, they work lesser in city. Apart from this, they start eating high calorie foods. Because of this they get diabetes. Diabetes patients should select their slippers only in the evenings. Diabetes patients should not wear tight slippers. In the evenings, there will be light swelling in the feet. So if we select the slipper at that time, it will suit us.”
