A recent survey has established that including eggs in the daily breakfast keeps the body in good physical control.
Protein-rich eggs quell the hunger and also preventing accumulation of calories.
A research was undertaken at the Food Department of Connecticut University, USA, on the topic of ‘Role of eggs in the diet of obese/fat persons’.
Obese persons were given boiled eggs during breakfast. It was found that there was visible increase in the energy level and a ‘ready-to-work’ enthusiasm. At the same time, eggs gave the feeling of a full stomach for a longer time. This led to a reduction in the quantity of intake during lunch & evening light snacks.
As the quantity of food intake reduced, the amount of calories in the body also reduced. This prevents any gain of weight.
The researchers recommend that protein-rich food is good for the health of the body overall. Especially, including protein-rich eggs in the breakfast certainly prevents putting on weight.
