Why do pains in the joints start at the onset of old age?

Lack of physical work/exercise and consuming food without required quantity of Calcium cause the erosion of bones in the joints for elders` making them suffer from acute pains in the joints.
 
Along with the advancing age, the bones also tend to get old and lose their function. Some people are affected at even younger age due to lack of nutrition in the food.
 
Most of the people who get reasonably exposed to sunlight do not get affected by pains in joints. When the body absorbs vitamin `D` from the sunlight and while taking food rich in Calcium, the wearing of bones can be prevented. As the people advance in age, they restrict themselves only to 2 activities – eating & sleeping!
 
However, this prevents their bodies from getting sufficient physical activities and exercises.  When the body internal organs do not get sufficient movement by way of exercise/work, joint-related problems start attacking the body.
 
To get cured of the complaint and also in order to prevent it, it is world-wide well-known fact that yoga exercises are the best remedy to prevent wearing-away of bones.
