A research team from Britain`s Edinburgh University, headed by Dr. Anoop Shah, has discovered the method for detecting heart attacks at far cheaper rates.
Persons who suspect about having experienced a heart-attack can just have the High Sensitivity Blood Marker test conducted.
Generally, it is observed that chest irritation sensation caused by acidity can lead to suspect whether there was a heart-attack.
When such doubts occur, the individual has to get admitted in a hospital emergency ward and have this test conducted within 3 hours after getting the doubt. Once this test is conducted, the cardiograph based on the heart waves will confirm with 99% clarity whether it was really a heart attack or it is just the effect of acidity.
The test costs just Rs. 200/- and the concerned individual who entered the hospital with tension & apprehension can get the confirmation whether it was indeed a heart-attack.
It is understood that some private hospitals charge Rs/.500/- for conducting this test including the bedding and other facilities provided.
