Dos and donts for better hair health

Taking care of your hair is a simple process. However, many start to do so when the situation is dire. Hair needs grooming, just like any other part of your body. 

Remember, that the products that you use must be of a good quality. A major reason for hair fall is the use of bad or cheap quality styling products. Hair should be oiled twice or thrice a week. The oil gives nourishment and helps stop hair fall. You must oil your scalp directly and not just the hair. 

Your hair dresser must be good. He or she will help you with maintenance while giving you tips for better hair health. Try to use your fingers to comb out your hair and take out any tangles before using a comb. 

You must use a conditioner. Also you must wash your hair daily. You can choose whether to use the conditioner or shampoo every day or not. But washing your hair with water helps remove dirt and the remnants of any styling products you use. 

Now for what you should not do. Don`t use too much of any styling product. Shampoo is meant for the hair. Bar soaps are meant for the body. Keep that in mind. Bar soaps do not have conditioning agents and will leave your hair dry and full of residue.
