According to recent research, men seem to take more excuses from visiting the doctor. Indian men fall under the same category too. They found that men get excuses claiming they are very busy to visit a physician.
Next to this, they fear that there might be something wrong with them, the research claims. They also feel uncomfortable with performing a few body exams like the prostate checks, the survey states.
Men can enjoy watching cricket or golfing for over 345 hours a week, or enjoy a trip to Vegas with their pals, but finding just 90 minutes in a year to visit a medical practitioner is tough to them. Jamin Brahmbhatt, urologic robotic surgeon from PUR Clinic in US said this is literally inexcusable.
The research also adds that the life expectancy of men is comparatively lesser than women by 5 years the reason being the proactive nature of women in their health aspects, he added.
Men take all the necessary measures to upkeep the condition of car with procedures like tuning up, changing oil, etc, but we do not take enough care for our bodies.
