Bananas at night? You got to think before sliding it through your throat

When you overload your stomach at night, you look out for bananas to aid digestion. Bananas are also considered as the remedy for troubles like constipation. Even doctors recommend the same.
 
But do you know that this is a bad practice? Eating fruits after dinner is not really advisable, especially consuming banana is unhealthy. Bananas contain fructose. This is a sugar which gets converted as fat and remains in our body. Due to this, the calorie content in our body eventually increases. Our body weight will in turn increase. Those who have got the practice of consuming a banana immediately after dinner should refrain from doing so. Consuming immediately should be avoided. You can eat it after a few minutes of having dinner.
 
It is true that by eating banana after dinner, your digestion process gets over very soon and hence you do not experience trouble while defecating on the next day morning. Those who have troubles with stomach and its functioning and experience troubles in defecating should not consider eating bananas. Instead, they should opt for eating vegetables and fruits that are rich in fibre content.
 
Children up to age 12 can be given with bananas at night. They can consume the fruit at any time of the day. A few children may experience cold and phlegm by regular consumption of bananas.
 
At the same time, diabetics and elderly individuals should also not eat bananas. Sports persons and those who regularly hit the gym can eat bananas at night. This will do good to their health. This will boost their calorie level in body which will keep them energetic while performing exercises or play games.
