Yes, it is indeed true that green tea is good for body health. However, the experts inform that drinking excess quantities of green tea quite often can be harmful to the body health.

It is better to drink green tea only twice or thrice a day. The experts observe that taking excess green tea may affect the liver.
Taking green tea immediately after getting up in the morning may affect the body. Instead, it is better to drink some water first and drink green tea after some time.
Similarly, it is not advisable to drink green tea before going to bed. This may lead to more mental tension/stress.
