Vegetables are very important and they play great role in the growth and development of humans. These vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals and since our childhood days we have been eating many types of vegetables is known.

Sometimes we don’t consume enough vegetables and it leads to many health issues. The below mentioned health issues are signs that we are not taking enough vegetables.

Injured easily - This is one important health sign in us when we don’t consume enough vegetables. It is said that consuming less vitamin C would leads to bruises plus other issues like bleeding gums, fatigue, weakness etc. Consumption of dark green leafy vegetables and others like red peppers, broccoli, tomatoes that are rich in vitamin C could be superb.

Heart based issues - Sometimes heart issues could be diagnosed in persons who might not have any family history of heart disease. The fact is enough to show vegetables are not consumed by that person.

Always feeling tired - Deficiency of folic acid or folate could be the reason for feeling tired always. This folic acid or folate is B9 vitamin available in dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, kidney beans and lentils etc and these must be included in our diet.

Weak immune system - Lack of vegetable consumption could lead to less immunity in us. By consuming green leafy vegetables the immune system could be strengthened.

Increasing weight - People who do not eat enough vegetables find increase in their weights. It is said that by consuming enough vegetables, hunger cravings are curbed due to dietary fibre contents in the vegetables. This weight increase is a sign that enough vegetables are not taken.  

Problems due to digestion - People who do not take enough vegetables have digestion issues. It must be noted that the presence of fibres in vegetables helps in easy digestion. So when problems due to digestion increase it shows that enough vegetables are not consumed.

Getting frequent muscle cramps - Getting frequent muscle cramps is another sign that enough vegetables are not consumed by a person. The potassium present in the vegetables helps in the prevention of muscular cramps.
