It is common for the parents to come across their kids wetting their beds or passing urine in their beds during the night times. There is nothing to worry about it. The important information is even after crossing age of 7 if the kid or child wets bed regularly then it is a case for concern. Bed wetting is also known by another name called as ‘Nocturnal Enuresis’.
Various reasons like intake of excess fluids before bed or low room temperature etc are cited as reasons for the kids to wet bed at nights. The urinary bladder in kids is small and cannot hold enough urine. Hence kids pass urine in their beds itself.

Intake of cranberry juice:
Belonging to the family ‘Ericaceae’, cranberries are evergreen dwarf shrubs. It is said that the intake of cranberry juice by the kids before going to sleep would provide a superb solution for the bed wetting issue. Point to be noted here is cranberry juice intake works on bed wetting cases that are associated with UTI.
Intake of walnuts and raisins:
Not many know that walnuts and raisins could also provide a super solution for bed wetting issue. In the developing children, potassium is very essential. This potassium is present in walnuts and raisins.
Intake of cereals:
In the kids, the water retention capacity gets more by whole grain cereals. It is believed that feeding the children with cereals like oats, puffed rice, cornflakes etc could make the child manage bed wetting efficiently.
Intake of banana;
It is one of the highly preferred fruit by many of us is known. By consuming banana, the excess fluid moving towards bladder is avoided. It is important to give bananas to the kids in the evening because intake at nights could result in phlegm.
