For all these years, garlic has been added to food for providing flavour to the food. It is now said that there is another way to have garlic and that is by drinking garlic tea.
Preparation of garlic tea:
In the first step, a glass of water is boiled and few chopped or minced garlic cloves are added. Grated ginger could also be added. In the next step, it is allowed to cook for 20 minutes and heat is turned off. After 10 minutes, drink is strained and honey and also few drops of lemon juice are added to enhance the flavour. Finally, the garlic tea is consumed. It must be noted that by adding ginger and lemon juice we would not get bad breath after consuming garlic tea.

There are many ingredients like manganese, selenium, vitamin b6, vitamin C, fibre etc present in garlic. Others like calcium, potassium, copper, iron, phosphorus etc are also present in decent amounts in garlic.
