Imagine this situation!! We are coming home from work with exhaustion and body tiredness and trying to sleep and at that time of sleeping our partner snores and disturbs our sleep. Very difficult it would be isn’t it!!

It is worthy to note that snoring is the sound produced due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping. The sound might vary from soft to loud one. There are certain foods that could loosen the throat muscles and worsen this condition.

There are few foods that we must not take and by this we could avoid snoring

Avoid intake of wheat:
It is believed that for staying fit one must avoid consumption of wheat at any cost. Important information is processed wheat might not be good for the health as it could lead to inflammation and mucus production etc. This in turn could restrict the nasal passage causing snoring.

Avoid intake of high fat meat:
The fats and proteins present in the meat could be responsible for the inflammation and increase the level of saturated fats could lead to snoring.  It is good to eat lean meat and low fat meat so that snoring could be avoided.

Avoid drinking milk:
Many of us drink milk before going to bed and it is an age old practise. Not many know that intake if dairy products could result in snoring. Production of mucus in the body gets increased by the intake of milk and this could lead to snoring.

Avoid intake of alcohol:
There is a belief that drinking alcohol could give us sound sleep. The fact is it could lead to losing muscles and this could increase snoring at the night time.

Avoid intake of sugar:
It is revealed that the intake of sugary drinks or eating sugary foods could also be a reason for the snoring at the nights. Point here is processed sugars could worsen throat tissues and could lead to snoring. The nasal passage gets restricted due to production of phlegm.  It is important to mention that there would be increase in cytokines that could lead to inflammation. So take care.
