The presence of kidney stones are revealed by these signs

We all know how painful childbirth pain is.

There is another pain that is equivalent to this pain and that is a pain due to the presence of kidney stones. Point here is this pain would be sudden and intense.

Also called by the name urolithiasis, kidney stone takes place when a solid piece of material or stones develop in the urinary bladder.

There are many risk factors associated with the formation of kidney stones and these are genetics, environmental factors plus high urine calcium levels, obesity, certain foods etc. When the minerals in the urine are of high concentration, then kidney stones are formed.

The diagnosis for the kidney stones is based on medical imaging, urine testing etc. There are some foods that could prevent the formation of kidney stones in us and they are calcium and oxalate-rich foods, fruits and vegetables etc.,

Various signs or symptoms associated with the kidney stones are 

Intense pain in back, stomach:

The movement of stone into the narrow urethra could lead to intense pain as the pressure gets build up in the kidney and blockage occurs. It must be noted that the pressure in the kidneys sends pain impulses to the brain. A person having kidney stone issue would feel pain in the back plus below the rib etc.

Pain during urination:

Some persons would feel pain when they urinate and this is one sign of kidney stones. The important information is pain occurs when the stone reaches the joint between ureter and bladder. This pain is often confused with UTI.

Urine in red, pink or brown colour:

Persons having kidney stone issue would have blood spots in the urine and this would be red or pink or brown in colour. It is important to consult a doctor immediately when this happens.

Frequent urination:

Frequent urination could be due to many reasons and it could also be due to the presence of kidney stones. It must be taken into account that large kidney stones get struck in the ureter and could block the urine flow. This would result in frequent urination.

Nausea and vomiting:

This is also one important sign or symptom shown by the persons with kidney stones. The important piece of information is the nerves of the kidneys and GI I tract are connected with each other.

Fever and chills:

Not many are aware of the fact that when a person is having an infection then he or she might experience fever and chills also.
