Sometimes, immunity in us could be very low due to these unusual factors

One common medical term that most of us would have come across is Immunity’.

The ability of our body to defend itself from foreign bodies is called immunity.

There are 2 types of immunity namely innate and adaptive. The former protects the host against infection but has no memory and the latter could give long term protection against specific pathogens and it does have a kind of memory.

There are many who wash their hands many times, stay away from sick persons etc but still get fever etc. The point is weakened immunity in us could be also due to some unusual reasons.

Various unusual reasons for low immunity in us are

Living in polluted place:

Here, the air around us harms both our lungs as well as our immunity. For our immune system to be healthy, T-cells play their roles is known. The presence of polluted air suppresses these T-cells leading to poor immunity. This breathing in of polluted air could be avoided by using an air purifier, face mask etc.

Consuming too much protein:

We could age faster and the immune system gets hampered by 1GF1 hormone and this hormone is produced more when we eat more animal protein. To prevent taking too much animal protein, make sure that no more than 10% of the daily calorie intake comes from animal sources like meat etc.

By staying alone:

This is also an abnormal reason for the poor immunity in us. The truth is resiliency is less in those who are alone in the times of stress. This loneliness could be avoided by spending time with friends, neighbours etc. The studies have shown that people with happy relationships have a higher resistance to infections than those who are alone.

Sitting always:

People do various types of jobs in their lives to make their both ends meet. It is brought out that those who do 9 to 5 jobs are mostly seated in their chairs. This could slow down their metabolism. As a result, the body absorbs immunity-boosting nutrients much slower than normal. To avoid this, walk a few steps in between the work and by this metabolism gets boosted.
