By maintaining a healthy weight and by being active:

By protecting from sun rays:
The sun rays would be high between 10 am and 4 pm and hence it is necessary to cover the parts to protect from harmful sun rays affecting our skin. By this, skin cancer could be avoided in us. Broad-spectrum sunscreen must be used having atleast SPF 30.
By limiting intake of alcohol:
We could get cancer of breast, mouth, lungs, liver, colon, rectum etc if we drink alcohol. The risk would be higher the more alcohol we consume. Hence, limiting intake is essential.
