Our energy levels could be affected by various factors like stress, poor mental health and life-work imbalance etc is known. Many of us would not be aware of the fact that our energy levels could also be affected by the food we consume. In the lockdown, we all would be eating home based foods mostly. It is said that even this food might not be healthy.
There are few foods that we must not consume if we feel fatigue all the time. These are
Avoid intake of desserts:
Many of us consume cookies, cakes etc without knowing that these desserts could make us feel fatigued. So it is important to avoid eating these cookies to be energetic.
Avoid intake of refined grains:
After we consume pasta, rice etc prepared using refined grains, we could feel lazy and tired. These foods have carbohydrates and could give a sudden rush of energy after an energy crash.
Say No to sugary drinks:
There are many who have the opinion that by consuming sugary drinks they could get energised. This is not correct. These drinks rich in sugars and carbohydrates might provide a sudden boost of energy and then there would be a dip in the energy levels.
Avoid coffee or tea:
It is normal for the majority of us to begin the day by sipping a cup of coffee or tea as it refreshes us and makes us feel better. We are not giving our body enough nutrients and rest by drinking coffee or tea in the morning. In the long run, it would be harmful.
