Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. This proverb is proving to be right. According to experts, people who wake up early are likely to be more productive, optimistic and earn more than late risers. Studies also show that those who use the morning hours productively get more work done efficiently.
A study also shows that ‘morning people’ are more content with their lives. A study by the University of Toronto shows that ‘being a morning person was associated with feelings of happiness, liveliness, cheerfulness, and alertness’ while evening people ‘often find themselves suffering social jet lag as their biological clock is out of sync with the social one’.
