Having excess stomach or belly fat is not good as it could lead to several health issues like BP, diabetes, obesity, heart disease etc. Various factors that could lead to belly fat are irregular sleeping patterns, poor food, stress etc. It is possible to get rid of excess belly fat by following a regular exercise routine along with proper sleeping patterns etc. It is a known fact that people try many methods to get rid of this belly fat and when things don’t go as per their plans they would get frustrated.

There are few foods that could help a person burn his or her belly fat and could make stomach flat and these are

Garlic intake:

Pungent smelling garlic is used in preparing many delicious dishes. Truth is that garlic could be consumed by us to get a flat stomach. Here, allicin a fat fighting compound in the garlic plays a superb role. By consuming garlic, fat is avoided from lodging on the stomach.

Yoghurt intake:

The protein rich yoghurt would burn the fat tissues that get collected around the stomach. It is important to mention here that the presence of vitamin D and calcium in yoghurt would reduce cortisol, a stress hormone that allows fat to cling on to the stomach.

Green tea intake:

Intake of green teas could provide us many health benefits. It is revealed that the presence of epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG, an antioxidant in green tea, would stop fats from forming in the body.

Berries intake:

The fats in the stomach would get burned by consuming berries like strawberry, cranberry, blue berries etc that have plenty of antioxidants in them. The blood flow in us would get boosted by intake of a good amount of berries.

Dark chocolate intake:

There are certain compounds in the dark chocolates and the gut microbes in the stomach would react with chocolates and ferment it. This would result in the formation of gut healthy polyphenols along with butyrate that is a fatty acid that would help the body to burn fat.

Whey protein intake:

It is believed that by intake of whey protein the excess belly fat would be burnt. Truth is that whey protein reduces appetite, boosts metabolism more effectively than other protein based sources.

Apple cider vinegar or ACV intake:
