Including ghee in the daily diet, intake helps enhance immunity to attack by diseases!

The ‘+’ points

·        Ghee is rich in healthy acids, and vitamins B2, B12, B6, C, and E and also a lot of other nutrients as well!

·        Ghee also contains Omega-3 and Omega Fatty Acids, These ingredients help and enhance the health of the vital body organs such as the brain, heart, and the nerve system.

Though the above are beneficial; points indeed, it is better to be aware of the recommended daily quantum of ghee to be consumed by the different age-groups!

The recommendations of the nutrition experts in this regard:

·        The boys and girls entering adulthood can take 2 teaspoons of ghee daily!

·        The pregnant women and the breast-feeding mothers can take 3 tablespoons of ghee daily.

·        For the infants aged from 7 months to 2 years, 3 teaspoons of ghee is recommended for daily intake.

·        For the children in the age group 3 to 0, daily 3 teaspoons of ghee is recommended.

·        For the children in the age group 10-17, the recommended ghee quantum is 4 teaspoons daily.

·        For the infants less than 6 months of age, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE GHEE! NOTE THAT MOTHER’S MILK IS THE BEST FOR THEM!
