If you give up consuming carbohydrates, then you might get these health issues

The sugars and starches which the body breaks down into glucose are carbohydrates. The carbohydrates provide us energy and it is one of the 3 main classes of foods. Various examples of carbohydrates are glucose, galactose, fructose, maltose etc. It must be noted that carbohydrates have just only oxygen, hydrogen and oxygen. Point is that if necessary humans can live without carbohydrates as our body can change proteins to carbohydrates.

It is essential that we must consume carbohydrates for our health and by giving ups carbohydrates we might get health issues.

Various health issues we could get by giving up carbohydrates are

Constipation issues:

Truth is that if we do not have major fibre sources such as vegetables, grains etc then the digestive tract would not work effectively. It is possible that we could get constipation issues or difficulty in passing stools.

Memory might worsen:

Low carb diet or giving up carbohydrates totally could lead to poor memory power in us. The completion of memory based talks would be difficult for those who consumed a low carbs diet than those who had reduced calorie but a well balanced diet.

Heart rhythm issues:

This is also one health issue of not consuming carbohydrates. It was revealed by a study that a low carbohydrates diet is associated with atrial fibrillation or heart rhythm issues.

Increase in bad cholesterol levels:

This is a serious issue and it is believed that by intake of a low carbs diet we could have rise in the bad cholesterol.  This would further lead to heart issues. A study in the year 2018 established that individuals on low carbohydrate and high fat diet showed high bad cholesterol levels.

More risk of colorectal cancer:

While going on a low carbohydrate diet it is possible to keep the vegetable intake high by many ways. Truth is that eating processed meats as a part of a diet plan could increase the risk of colorectal cancers.

More risk of developing kidney stones:

It has been brought to light by a study conducted in 2010 that a ketogenic diet could cause kidney stones. Hence, to avoid kidney stone formation we must not give up or have just low carbohydrate diet
