When do we become extremely hungry?
Sometimes, we might not eat breakfast or skip it. This would make us extremely hungry during lunch and we would eat food in an irresponsible manner. It is true that when we eat too little or skip food then we might eat excess amounts of food or overeat. In this situation, we might eat high calorie snacks. People could get issues like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting etc due to the high calorie snacks as the GI tract could become sensitive to certain types of foods.
There are few foods that we must avoid when we are extremely hungry. These are
Avoid avocado consumption:
It is an amazing fruit that could provide us with various health benefits like lowering cholesterol levels, regulating blood sugars, improvement in cognitive functions etc. Truth is that when we are extremely hungry or in an empty stomach then we must avoid intake of avocados. The reason for this is that the fat content in this fruit would get digested slowly and we might get reflux.
Avoid raw vegetables consumption:
By eating raw vegetables, we might feel too full and the blood sugar could reduce also later. Fibrous vegetables intake could lead to gas and bloating issues etc.
Avoid eating large portions of fruit:
Our blood glucose levels would become more sudden if we eat large portions of a fruit. This would make us feel tired and hungry soon. It is believed that the acidity in the fruits could result in acid reflux issues etc in us.
Avoid eating energy bars:
It is true that eating energy bars would give us energy. Energy bars must not be eaten on an empty stomach or when in extreme hunger because it could lead to gas and discomfort.
Avoid protein shakes consumption:
It is known that protein shakes contain whey and when consumed in an empty stomach could lead to issues like bloating, stomach cramps etc.
Avoid red meat consumption:
Eating red meat in an empty stomach or in extreme hunger might make our body work extra to breakdown proteins. We could get issues like stomach distress etc. We could also get the feeling of excessive fullness by eating red meat in an empty stomach.
Avoid drinking coffee:
Not many know that drinking coffee on an empty stomach could make our body release hydrochloric acid inside the digestive system. This would increase the acidity and digestive issues.
