For more than 1 year , the demonic coronavirus has been consuming human lives in millions throughout the world!

As such, full-fledged efforts are being made to discover suitable medicine/vaccines for this through research. On the other side, intensive research has been undertaken to check and find what sort of patients the corona attacks and then make the treatment accordingly.

It was established quite early that the raging corona consumes the lives of the senior citizens with less immunity against diseases!

In another research, it was established 2 weeks ago that every 1-in-5 person weighing above 120 kg gets infected with coronavirus and dies!

Shortage of Vitamin D

In the above scenario, scientists from England’s East Anglia University and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Trust joined together by doing a survey, collecting the data and analysing the same of the deaths due to corona in 20 European countries comparing the reasons leading to these deaths.

After the analysis, it has been established that these deaths have been mostly due to shortage of Vitamin D. Following this, the scientists have recommended that the treatment given to the patients infected with coronavirus suitably modified to ensure Vitamin D nutrient.

While sharing the related news, the above scientists explained:

“If the required extra quantum of Vitamin D is given to the coronavirus infected patients, the prospects of these patients recovering faster are certain! Be is certain that only the deficiency of Vitamin D is the reason for getting easily infected !A large percentage of the patients who died had acute shortage of Vitamin D.”

With the above fact, let us now see the sources of Vitamin D!

·        A natural source is sunlight which offers boundless Vitamin D to all citizens!

·        Fish such as ‘soorai’, Kala’, ‘Kanankozhuthi’, and ‘Samakara’ are rich in Vitamin D. Especially, ‘Kala’ is rich in Vitamin D!

·        Orange juices, grains, soya milk, cheese, mushroom, the yellow of eggs, etc., are rich in Vitamin D!

From the above, it appears that apart from strictly following the guidelines of wearing face masks, adhering to keeping social distancing, frequent washing of hands with soap, etc., Vitamin D is another source to contain the resurgent coronavirus pandemic!!
