It is true that we get attracted by various packaged foods these days. Not many of us would know that these packaged foods are highly unhealthy. These foods might be delicious to taste but they contain chemicals etc and these would harm our health in the long run.
So, please be careful about these foods that are unhealthy and they could harm our health.
Avoid French fries:
The presence of trans- fats and calories in French fries would make them highly unhealthy for consumption. When we eat French fries we might not be able to stop with just one serving. Eating trans-fats based foods could lead to heart issues in us.
Avoid sugary cereals:
We could get health issues by eating sugary cereals that are rich in sugar and low in fibre content. It is essential that we must eat cereal that contains less than 10gms of sugar and 3gms of fibre. The presence of BHT in the sugary cereals would lead to heart issues in us.
Avoid sweetened drinks:
It is okay to consume sweetened drinks once or twice but not frequently because they would increase the chances of getting type-2 diabetes in us. In addition, we could also get cavities etc.
Avoid restaurant desserts:
Colourful and delicious to taste, we all like eating desserts. The fact is deserts have artificial sugars plus sodium. This sodium would increase the blood pressure and lead to other heart based issues in us.
Avoid white sugars:
We must have 25gms of sugar daily and this is according to the World Health Organisation. The white sugar that is available in the market could result in diabetes, obesity and heart diseases etc in us. Instead of white sugars, we can consume jaggery or honey also.
Avoid bacons and sausages:
Rich in saturated fats and AGEs or advanced glycation and products etc, bacon and sausages are unhealthy for us in the long run. When they are dried, smoked and cooked at high temperatures, inflammatory compounds are created. Moreover, the nitrates and nitrites present in these could turn into cancer causing nitrosamines.
Avoid coffee creamer:
Not many of us would know that there is no cream present in coffee creamer but it has got just sugar, water, soybean/canola oil. It also has synthetic additives like mono and diglycerides.
Avoid cake frostings:
Full of chemicals such as carcinogenic dyes and artificial colours, cake frostings are unhealthy for us when we consume it for a long time. We could get kidney based issues by eating cake frostings that contain propylene glycol.
Avoid pancake syrup:
It is okay to eat pancakes but not the syrup. It is worthy to mention that the syrup contains fructose corn syrup and caramel colouring (contaminated with carcinogens). Consuming pancake syrup could lead to our body parts in the long run.
Avoid granola bars:
Loaded with artificial chemicals and sugar, granola bars could be unhealthy if they are not chosen wisely. Therefore, it is important that we must eat those granola bars that have got atleast 2gms of fibres and less than 10gms of sugar in it.t.
