Low testosterone levels refer to less than 300 ng/dl. It is worthy to note that testosterone is the primary sex hormone in males.

Poor testosterone levels in males could lead to various issues like deteriorated bone/muscle health, lower sex drive, adverse mood changes, excess fatigue, reduced energy levels etc.

Getting older:
Lower testosterone levels could be attributed to age. When a person gets older, then his testosterone levels would go down.

Healthy synthesis of hormones would get affected badly due the presence of chronic disease. It is said that the levels of testosterone would get affected due to chronic diseases. Examples are cancer, heart diseases, diabetes strokes etc.
