Close and true friendships would leave a lasting impression on our mental health and on our overall well being!!

Fact is that the majority of the time we spend with our friends only and we all have several close friends with whom we can share many things. The close or best friends would make us feel comfortable and they would provide us huge relief when we face issues etc in our lives. The truth is that it is not the quantity but the quality of friendship that is very important.

We all go through different phases in our lives and the support we receive from our close friends during our difficult phases would not be forgotten easily by us. Certain things which we cannot discuss with our family members could be discussed easily with our close friends.

By these ways, true and genuine friendships would make a positive impact on us.

Friends lend support:
This is a very important way by which friendships could impact us in a positive manner. It is not necessary that we must have many friends to share our joys and sorrows. One close friend is also sufficient. Truth is that friends would be there for us and make our lives happy.

Spending quality time:
No one can choose his or her family but we all can choose our friends. It is essential that we must spend quality time with a single or a group of friends. By this, our mental health would become better because we would enjoy positively by being with friend or friends.

Increase sense of belongingness:
Close knit group of friends would increase our sense of belongingness etc and this would definitely increase our confidence and happiness.

Reduces stress:
Our stress and burden would not be there or get reduced when we spend time with our close friends. This would make a positive impact on us.

Keeping away loneliness:
The feeling of loneliness would not be there when we are with our close friends. The love and support we could get from our friends would be superb for our mental health. Those belonging to older age especially would get plenty of benefits by being with their close friends.

Boosts our confidence:
We all need some kind of support in our lives and close friends would provide that much needed support for us. This would boost our confidence to a huge extent. We would get motivated when our friends around us celebrate our success like their success.
