Here are a few home remedies to contain your sugar levels.

·         Eat bitter gourd (karela or paavakkai) on an empty stomach.

·         Soak some fenugreek (methi or vendhiyam) seeds in water overnight. Drink them up along with the water in the morning after brushing your teeth.

·         The jambul fruit is most beneficial to the pancreas. You can also dry and powder the seeds and consume with water twice a day.

·         Guava, along with its skin, is known to combat diabetes.

·         Make a juice of goose berry (amla or nellikkai) and drink daily.

·         Green tea helps in leveling insulin in the bloodstream.
