Are you finding it difficult to do your activities due to the low energy levels?

At a given time, a person might have certain amounts of both physical as well as mental strength or stamina and this is called the energy level. Factors such as diet, lifestyle, exercise, sleep etc contribute to the energy levels of a person. It is true that our daily habits have a huge influence over our energy levels. Our energy levels would get boosted when we eat a proper diet plus do exercises daily, sleep well and manage stress efficiently etc. Many of us would not be aware of the fact that self functioning of our body, improvement in blood circulation, increase in the oxygen supply etc would be promoted by the daily habits. It is worthy to note that certain daily habits could also lower our energy levels. We could have decreased energy levels due to poor hydration plus due to lack of enough sunlight, excessive screen time etc

Various daily habits that can drain your energy levels or lower energy levels are

Skipping meals:

By not eating meals especially breakfast, there would be a drop in the blood sugar levels and this would further result in draining of the energy levels. So, please never skip breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. Please, be careful.

Living a sedentary lifestyle:

It is highly essential to incorporate regular physical activity. Truth is that sitting for a long time without any activity would lead to reduction in the energy levels.

Poor sleep habits:

These days many of us stay late due to various reasons and not enough sleep. This would certainly result in a drop of energy levels. It is important to sleep for atleast 6 hours.

Over intake of caffeine etc:

It is okay to consume caffeine for a temporary energy boost. Bitter truth is that over relying on caffeine would only result in dependency and crash in the energy levels etc.

Dehydration:

Dehydration would lead to fatigue and lack of energy and hence we must avoid it. It is important to drink water throughout the day.

Lack of enough sunlight:

Our circadian rhythm would get disrupted and energy levels would get affected when we do not get enough exposure to the sunlight. So, please take care.

Having high stress:

There are chances that the stress in us could also result in reduced energy levels in us. Our overall health would also get affected due to high levels of stress. Therefore, it is necessary to practice stress reducing techniques like deep breathing exercises, yoga , meditation etc. It would also be good to engage in some interesting activity like hobbies etc and get relaxation.
