It generally happens that we cut our fingers inadvertently while cutting vegetables for cooking. No need to panic!
There are easy & simple remedies using items generally available in the kitchen!
- Wash the cut area and apply coffee powder. It will freeze the oozing blood.
- Apply a pinch of wheat flour or all-purpose flour (maida) in the cut area. Blood oozing will stop. This is a sure-fire domestic remedy!
- A slightly different but proven remedy – use electrical tape and apply it in an area very near the cut and hold it tight. The blood circulation in the area will be blocked.
- Generally, mothers tend apply salt in the wounded/cut area of the children. Salt & the water released by it not only treat the cut/wound but also arrest oozing blood.
