Some tips of natural methods to reduce weight!

  • While eating food chew thoroughly well, make the food into a paste and then swallow.
  • When upset with anger or tension, control them while eating and ensure taking the correct quantity of food. Otherwise, take food after getting over the tension or anger!
  • Use hand-pummelled rice. Hand-pummelled rics is rich in ingredients providing strength to the body.
  • Banana flower, banana stem, and okra (Ladies’ finger or ‘vendaikkai’ in Tamil) are vegetables which help reduce body weight.
  • It is better to include water-rich items like pumpkin, water-melon, and cucumber.
  • It is better to avoid all-purpose flour (maida) root begetables, fried food items, mango, jackfruit, bananas and sweet items.
  • Take warm water mixed with a little lemon juice & honey on an empty stomach in the early morning. This will help reduce weight.
  • Include cabbage, cauliflower, etc in the daily diet.
  • Avoid potato chips & banana chips!
  • Take a lot of buttermilk often!
  • Do not take curd frequently!
  • Drink just the right quantity of milk.
  • Avoid cheese!
  • Included sprouted pulses/grains, vegetables, and and fruit juices regularly in your diet.
  • Horsegram soup, horse gram chutney, fried horse gram, and steamed horse gram can be included in the diet at least thrice a week.
  • Horsegram has the property to dissolve the unwanted fat in the body.
  • Use rsaam made from horse gram especially during the winter season.
  • However,. Persons with excessive body heat can better avois using horse gram.
  • Apart for the natural methods suggested above, practising Yoga, and taking sauna (steam) bath can also help reduce body weight.
