While eating food chew thoroughly well, make the food into a paste and then swallow.
When upset with anger or tension, control them while eating and ensure taking the correct quantity of food. Otherwise, take food after getting over the tension or anger!
Use hand-pummelled rice. Hand-pummelled rics is rich in ingredients providing strength to the body.
Banana flower, banana stem, and okra (Ladies’ finger or ‘vendaikkai’ in Tamil) are vegetables which help reduce body weight.
It is better to include water-rich items like pumpkin, water-melon, and cucumber.
It is better to avoid all-purpose flour (maida) root begetables, fried food items, mango, jackfruit, bananas and sweet items.
Take warm water mixed with a little lemon juice & honey on an empty stomach in the early morning. This will help reduce weight.
Include cabbage, cauliflower, etc in the daily diet.
Avoid potato chips & banana chips!
Take a lot of buttermilk often!
Do not take curd frequently!
Drink just the right quantity of milk.
Avoid cheese!
Included sprouted pulses/grains, vegetables, and and fruit juices regularly in your diet.
Horsegram soup, horse gram chutney, fried horse gram, and steamed horse gram can be included in the diet at least thrice a week.
Horsegram has the property to dissolve the unwanted fat in the body.
Use rsaam made from horse gram especially during the winter season.
However,. Persons with excessive body heat can better avois using horse gram.
Apart for the natural methods suggested above, practising Yoga, and taking sauna (steam) bath can also help reduce body weight.
