A pair of skinny jean is one of the must have for any youngster who is really fashion conscious. But if you are aware of its health hazards, you wouldn’t pick that at all.

According to a report published in the British Specialist publication, Journal of Neurology, in Australia, a woman aging 35 got admitted in hospital as she couldn’t walk or move her toes or ankles. Her legs were badly swollen because of wearing tight skinny jeans. The sole reason for such condition was told to be her long work hours sitting, wearing her skinny jeans.

This condition is called Compartment Syndrome. This is seriously painful and life-threatening too. This is caused by bleeding or swells in your bundle of muscles, says report. The jean she wore had to be cut and she was put on intravenous drop which made her walk after four days of irksome trouble.

There are several modern day clothing that cause serious trouble out of which tight jean is one major one, say Dr Mithun Aachi, senior orthopaedic surgeon. Wearing tight jean will interrupt blood circulation from leg to heart which creates all the trouble.
