Here are some essentials to keep n your handbag this rainy season.
1. Umbrella. This may seem like a no brainer when it is going to pour outside, but many do forget to carry one in case of emergencies. Make your umbrella a style statement.
2. Face wash. Although it may seem like its going to be cool outside in the rains, you will sweat in our city. Yes, it may not be the beating down summer heat but Chennai is known for its sultry weather in the monsoons. Keep a face wash in hand in case you spend the day out of your home.
3. Waterproof eye makeup. Invest in waterproof kajal, eyeliner and mascara. The last thing you want is to walk into your office from a rainy outdoors and find your eyes all smudged.
4. Wet Wipes. Keep a pack of wet wipes with you even though you carry face wash. It helps in keeping your face fresh at all times. Opt for one with Vitamin C, aloe vera or rose water. These are readily available in the market.
5. Compact. Do not use foundation this season. Use dry compact powder that is easy to wash off and that will not make a mess of your face if you get wet.
