A recent research has established that the practice of taking limited quantity of red wine in the night on a daily basis is good especially for diabetics – we are all aware that this current age is having an increasing number of diabetics of all age groups!
Generally, this type of diabetes (Type-2) reduces the density of HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) in the body and renders it liable for heart diseases.
Ben-Gurion University, located in the city Negev in Israel conducted this research by monitoring 224 persons affected by Type-2 Diabetes over a period of 2 years.
They were asked to take their choice of Mediterranean food in 2 parts with an instruction to drink 5 Ounces of water or red wine.
After 2 years of observation, it was found that the section of people who took red wine experienced deep sleep, good digestion system improvement and an increased in the density of HDL as compared to the second section of people who took water.
As per this study, the research team has suggested .that taking 5 ounces of red wine along with food in the night on a daily basis protects the body health and prevents the need to consult doctors.
Additional information is that red wine also helps improve the memory power and prevent Dementia which commonly occurs among the elder people.
