Most of us have got the practice of refrigerating food items so as to preserve it from getting decayed. However, not all food items are suitable for refrigeration. If they are done so, they tend to get spoilt.

We all need to know the list of products that are suitable for refrigeration and those that are not so. Though fridge aids in keeping products safe from getting spoilt, a few products will remain good in condition only if they are kept in airy place.

Never consume refrigerated meat

Let us now take a look at the list of products that should not be refrigerated. We believe this will help you to maintain your food products henceforth.

Bread should be kept in airtight covers and preserved in dry place. When refrigerated, fungus formation is likely soon and will also turn hard soon.

Garlic will remain good in condition for several days even if kept open in air without refrigerating. The only factor to consider is that should be kept in dry space that is well airy.

Most of us cut watermelon and refrigerate it for keeping it safe. If it is done so, it will shrink and lose all its nutritive values, getting dry. It is always best to consume the fruit immediately after cutting it.

Onions should never be refrigerated. Onions will remain good if kept in well airy and dry area. Store avocado in brown colored covers. This will prevent it from getting ripen fast. On the other hand, if you want it to get ripened fast, store it in open space. Never ever refrigerate this.

The only food item that will remain good without refrigeration is honey. There is not any need to refrigerate it at all. Make sure not to mix any other item with honey.

We presume that tomatoes remain fresh with refrigeration. This is a myth, for those of you who do not know. By refrigerating, tomatoes lose their original taste. Hence, keep tomatoes in open space.
