Chain smokers find it really tough to quit smoking, and there is no wonder. This really tough situation can be coped with healthy assistance. According to recent studies states that getting help from someone can aid in fighting smoking addiction.
 
The study points state that it was really easy for most smokers to quit smoking when they had enough assistance by nurses or other staff members all of whom are well trained to counsel smokers.
 
The researchers add that the best time to try quitting smoking is when they are hospitalized because this will be the time for them to stay motivated about their health. During this time, the nurse can complain of the bad effects associated with smoking.
 
The study involved 1528 participants of which 16.5 percent of them said they have quit smoking when they got out of intervention hospitals, whereas with other hospitals, there were just 5.7 percent patients who could quit smoking.
 
The research also adds that there are most of the patients leaving hospitals start smoking once they get out of hospital. Such patients can be introduced to quitting plan for better likeliness of quitting smoking.
