The hot weather in India has put everyone in trouble. Day or night, evening or morning, whatever is the time, people feel too warm and get irked with the UV rays while driving to and fro workplace. So, what is mostly recommended from everyone is to drink plenty of water in order to fight the sun.

You should drink enough water, but how much is the level? Do you know what over hydrating your body will put you at risk? The balance between sodium and water will get changed and harm your body. Both water intake as well as water retention can cause over hydration in your body. Exercising, specific medications, or other reasons may be the reason behind drinking too much of water.

You should watch your water drinking habit and draw a line somewhere. In one hour, our kidney will release about half a litre of water. So it is not a wise idea to drink more than you expel. There will be an imbalance between salt or sodium, and water, as stated above. This is called as intoxication.

The fluids present within and around the cells will be hit due to this. When you consume too much of water, the liquid gets deposited within cells. And the condition will result in swelling or may need immediate medical attention too.
