Chest pain refers to pain in the region of the neck and many get chest pain these days. This chest pain must be considered seriously whether it is mild or severe. It is important to mention that chest pain depends on many factors like intensity of pain, duration of the pain, age, sex etc. There are many symptoms of chest pain and they are dizziness, nausea, vomiting, excessive sweating piercing pain etc. It is said that any disturbance in lungs, nerves, stomach, pancreas etc could also lead to chest pain in us.
Chest pain due to bone issues:
Ribs and sternum are 2 important bone areas present in our body and they both are connected to chest pain. Fracturing of the ribs could toughen chest movement, cause deep breaths and finally result in chest pain. The places in our body where ribs meet sternum could cause inflammation.
Lung related chest pain:
Lungs are one of the most common origins of chest pain in us. Due to the blood clot in the pulmonary arteries, chest pain, ache plus conciseness of breath is caused. The name of this condition is pulmonary embolism. Chest pain could be due to pressure in the arteries carrying blood. In the sides of the chest, lungs deflate and chest pain takes place at this place. Chest pain could be due to pneumonia also.
Chest pain due to muscle or nerve disorder:
Burning or severe pain in the chest takes place due to nerves breaking down. During chickenpox painful rashes with blisters occurs and this could lead to chest pain too. It is important to mention that chicken pox infections counter on the nerve distribution of chest and cause sharp pain on one side of chest. Due to overuse of coughing spells, chest muscles become inflamed and area becomes tender. This results in chest pain in us.
Chest pain due to gastrointestinal causes:
In the upper portion of abdominal areas is present some parts of gastrointestinal tract. It must be noted that inflammation or rupture of oesophagus could result in severe pain. This pain increases when we eat or breathe deeply. Inflammation in gall bladder, bile duct blockage etc could result in severe aching. Lower chest pain or upper abdominal pain could be due to pancreatitis also.
Chest pain due to depression, stress etc:
Not many know that chest pain could also be due to psychological factors like anxiety, depression, panic attacks etc. These result in fast heartbeat and chest pain in us. Extreme chest pain results due to fast heart beat.
Chest pain due to hernia:
Hiatal hernia could cause chest pain in us. It is worthy to note that when our stomach starts to bulge into the opening in the diaphragm or hiatal through which oesophagus passes before meeting stomach then hiatal henia takes place.
