Drink orange juice daily to prevent stroke

A recent study suggests that consuming orange juice every day will substantially bring down the risk of stroke by about one-fourth.

Results of the study got published in British Journal of Nutrition. It clearly indicates the difference achieved by consuming orange juice on a daily basis. There was 24% decrease in likeliness of brain clot by doing so. There was also 12-13% reduced likeliness of developing heart disease and it brought down the possibility of arteries damage.

The health aspects of fresh juices have been insisted for long. However, there are several warnings doing the rounds regarding the adverse effects of sugar content in them. For this, the study clearly states that orange juice has a lot of health benefits and prevents stroke such that the benefits directly overweigh the bad effects of sugar content in them.

Netherlands National Institute for Public Health researchers say there are many favorable aspects of daily consumption of fruit juices. Not only does orange juice come with these benefits, there are other fruit juices that reduce likeliness of many other diseases.

Juices are believed to have the natural plat substances that is present in the entire fruit. This is helpful in positively maintaining our blood vessels without causing any damage.

In spite of these many good effects and benefits of fruit juices, it is always best that you consume a fruit as a fruit itself than making it as a juice, recommend studies.

It is to be noted that the study involved 35,000 men and women participants aging 20 to 70 years.
