Too much intake of meat would lead to these health issues

Rich in protein and healthy fats, many of us consume meat these days.

It is worth mentioning that both proteins, as well as healthy fats, are required for the proper functioning of our body and meat has got these. The meat is an animal flesh that is eaten after cooking and processing. The point is if the meat is untreated then it gets spoiled quickly and becomes unfit for consumption. 

The truth is excess intake of meat is not good and it would lead to many health issues in us.

These are the health issues of excess meat intake

Could lead to bloating:

It refers to the swollen state in us caused because of the retention of gas.  It is revealed that after the intake of meat if a person feels bloated then it is said that the food has not been digested properly. Persons with this issue have pain, discomfort, and stuffed feelings in them. It is better to stop eating meat if the person gets this bloating issue.

Could lead to constipation:

This is also one side effect of eating too much meat. It is known that red meat has got less fiber and intake of red meat might result in constipation. So take care.

Could lead to bad breathe:

A person could get a bad breathe issue when a person eats an excessive amount of meat having high proteins. The important information is body undergoes a metabolic state called ketosis. In this ketosis, chemicals get released and this leads to bad breathe.

Could lead to fatigue:

It is revealed that too much meat consumption might also result in fatigue. The truth is foods rich in protein contain tryptophan (amino acid) and this is used by the body to produce serotonin that would cause fatigue or drowsiness.

Could lead to diverticulitis in men:

Men must take care and must avoid excess of red meat intake. It is brought out that men who eat too much red meat would have a painful inflammatory condition of the colon called diverticulitis. Symptoms are nausea and severe stomach pain. The shocking fact is men who consume excess red meat have 58% more chance of developing diverticulitis when compared to other men who consume less red meat.   

Could lead to weak bones:

Urinary loss of calcium would be there when a a person eats too much protein-based meat. It is known that calcium plays a huge role in the formation of strong bones in us. Loss of calcium could result in weak bones.

High chances of vision loss:

Not many know that too much intake of red meat is linked to increased risk of getting age-related macular degeneration and vision loss. It is revealed that the nitrosamines in processed meat could harm the vision.
