It is true that eating healthy is not just choosing the healthiest foods to eat but much more than that. We must choose foods that would help us to balance the sugar levels plus keep food cravings at bay, foods that could keep us full between meals etc. The satisfactory level of a meal would depend on what we eat and not on how much we eat. While choosing the foods that would keep us satiated, we take into consideration foods rich in dietary fibres, foods that are free from refined sugar, foods rich in proteins etc.
These below mentioned foods would keep us feeling full for longer periods of time.
Intake of oatmeal:
It is known that oatmeal is a complex carbohydrate and it takes longer time for digestion. It would release energy slowly and would keep us full for a long time. Fat storage is avoided in us by eating oatmeal as it would keep our blood as well as insulin levels stable. Not many know that nuts could keep us feeling full for a longer time. Our body would get nourished in a well balanced manner if we consume nuts that are rich in plant based protein, fatsts and fibres.
Intake of whole grains:
The complex carbohydrates in whole grains like ragi, jowar and bajra would release glucose slowly when broken down in digestion. Our sugar cravings would be controlled by the glucose. Eating whole grains would keep us full.
Intake of apples:
