Both men as well as women desire to have thick strong black hairs on their heads. The hair could get damaged and we could lose our hair due to pollution, stress and other health issues etc. Not many are aware of the fact that the food which we eat also could contribute to our hair loss. We must avoid these foods to be free from hair loss and these foods are
Avoid sugar intake:
Intake of excess amounts of sugar could result in diabetes, obesity issues etc in us. Truth is that sugars could also lead to hair loss and finally could lead to baldness. So, please take care.
Avoid intake of high glycemic foods:
Those foods that would lead to spike in the insulin levels are high glycemic foods. Examples are refined flour, bread etc. By eating these high glycemic index foods, we could get hormonal imbalances. This could then lead to spike in the insulin and androgens. We could lose hairs as androgens get bound to hair follicles.
Avoid intake of alcohol:
Our hairs would become weaker by intake of alcohol and this could be due to the negative impact of alcohol on protein synthesis. It is known that hairs are made of protein called keratin. Follicle death could take place due to excess intake of alcohol leading to hair loss.
Avoid intake of diet soda:
The aspartame present in the diet soda could lead to hair follicle damage. So be careful and avoid frequent diet soda consumption.
Avoid junk foods:
Apart from making us obese and giving rise to cardiovascular disease etc, intake of junk foods would also lead to hair loss. This could be due to the presence of saturated as well as mono-saturated fats in the junk foods.
Avoid raw white eggs:
Though eggs are superb for hairs they must not be eaten raw. Biotin is a vitamin that could assist in the keratin formation and by eating raw white eggs we could get biotin deficiency. It is worth mentioning here that avidin present in the raw white eggs would combine with biotin and intestinal absorption is hindered.
