Every healthy girl or woman between the age 14 to 45 would have regular monthly periods or menstrual cycles. It is well known that getting through this menstrual period is not that easy due to the severe pain plus other issues associated with it. Not always a girl or woman would have her periods regularly. In some, periods or menstrual cycles would become irregular and it could be due to various reasons like stress, unhealthy lifestyle, hormonal issues etc. Medically the irregular period is termed as Oligomenorrhea. When the monthly periods become irregular it might even indicate an underlying health issue and hence it must be treated compulsorily.
There are few remedies available in the homes to treat the irregular period issue. These are
Ginger intake:
Mostly used in many dishes, ginger is also known for its medicinal properties. It is believed that intake of ginger could provide a solution for irregular periods.
Ripe papaya intake:
Truth is that papaya is a source of carotene and it could stimulate the production of estrogen in women. Irregular periods could be regulated by intake of ripe papaya. Intake of excess amount must be avoided as it would lead to issues.
By doing yoga:
Doing yoga regularly could provide a solution for many issues is a well known fact. Irregular periods could get regulated by doing yoga. The body would become flexible by stretching and menstrual cramps could be controlled easily.
Turmeric intake:
One of the widely used spices, turmeric intake could help the body to regulate hormones. Hormonal imbalance that is responsible for irregular periods would not be there.
Apple cider vinegar or ACV intake:
Many health issues get treated by apple cider vinegar or ACV. Regular intake of this could help a woman to overcome her irregular period issue. Excess intake of apple cider vinegar must be avoided.
