With the availability of all those modern electronic gadgets, it is true that the majority of us have become very lazy like couch potatoes!!
Our health would become better and it would be possible to avoid chronic health issues if we do exercises for atleast 30 minutes a day. By being active, we could get long term benefits. There are times when we would make a lot of efforts but we would not be able to stay active as much as we should. It is true that this might even result in some side effects for us.
These signs show that we are not moving enough
Stiff joints:
We could avoid stiffness in us by moving. By being active, we could prevent bone related issues in us. Truth is that when we become older our joints and bones related issues intensify. The range of motion would get reduced.
Concentration issues:
Not many would know that poor lifestyle habits could result in concentration issues. Inspite of trying hard, we would not able to finish the work. Physical activities like exercises would make us calm and we would be able to complete the work.
Mood swings:
When we do not move much then it would show on our physical as well as mental well being. Our adrenaline level would increase when we exercise and this would help us to concentrate better. By sitting at one place our stress and anxiety would increase.
Breathlessness:
Our lung capacity would increase by doing cardio exercises like running, walking, jogging etc. It must be noted here that when we don’t do exercises regularly then the muscle of the lungs would lose its strength and we would feel tired even after walking, climbing stairs etc.
Constipation:
The colon in us moves when we move and by this it would be easy for the stools to move down. There would not be any constipation issues in us when we move.
Back pain:
Poor sitting posture and weak core muscles could result in back pain. By regular exercising, this issue could be avoided easily.
Puffy eyes:
There are times when our eyes would become puffy and this would also indicate that we are not moving enough.
Fading memory:
Just like our bodies, the brain also needs exercises. Our medial temporal lobe would become thicker when we sit hours together without moving. So, please take care.

Sugar cravings:
If we do not move then our sugar cravings would increase and we would eat more sugary items. Moving frequently would reduce this.
Getting sick often:
Weak immune system in us is indicated by getting sick frequently. By moving, our immune system would get boosted and our defence activity would become better. The chances of getting cold, flu etc would get reduced.
