Your body shows depression just as much as your mind does. Here are a few tips to help you perk up when you are feeling down.
· Step out into the morning sun. Vitamin D, that is present in sunshine, helps your brain produce serotonin and oxytocin which are anti depression hormones.
· Get massages regularly. Massaging your body helps your brain produce endorphins which are hormones that make you feel good.
· Studies have shown that if you are not that anal about tidiness, your brain produces lesser cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone that saps out all the good energy. Be just a little untidy and you will feel better.
