How many of us are aware of the fact that our feet have more sweat glands when compared to other parts of our body?
Truth is that there are 125,000 sweat glands in each foot. It is due to this reason that our feet sweat more than other parts. The sweaty feet could be highly irritating for us because we might not be able to walk properly wearing flip-flops or sandals etc. We would feel embarrassed when our feet stink. It is noteworthy that when it is very hot outside the feet would sweat and by this more moisture would be released and this would keep our body cool.
We can avoid stinky and sweaty feet by following these.
By wearing right shoes:
During the winter season, we might wear boots etc to get protection from the cold weather but in summers we mostly try trendy footwear. Truth is that trendy footwear would make our feet sweat more. In those circumstances, we must avoid wearing leather sandals, rubber sneakers etc. We must choose sandals that are not too tight.
By staying hydrated:
We must drink lots of water to keep ourselves hydrated well. It would be possible to get rid of sweaty feet by drinking lots of water, fluids etc. By drinking excess water, our body temperature would get regulated and we would not sweat more.
By washing feet properly & daily:
After coming home, we must wash our feet well with soap and water. It is necessary that we must clean our feet twice every day to prevent bacterial growth that could lead to smelly feet.
By sprinkling foot powder:
The moisture would get absorbed when we sprinkle foot powder before wearing shoes or footwear etc. our feet would be dry. It would be good to try the mixture of baking soda and cornstarch also.
By carrying extra socks:
It is important that to avoid sweaty sticky feet we must wear socks that are breathable and would absorb moisture well. Wool and synthetic blend socks would be superb. In case your feet smell, then you can use the extra socks that you carry.
