For our body to function properly, it is important that we must eat sufficient food. Many of us eat lesser amounts of foods for various reasons. Too much of eating could lead to obesity plus other issues are well known fact but not many know about the issues of poor eating.
For the body to be both healthy mentally as well as physically, we must have 3 proper and balanced meals per day. It is not good to skip meals frequently and due to that we could get infections and diseases very easily. Reduced food intake could lower our immunity levels. Our body must be provided with daily requirements of carbohydrates and nutrients etc.
These signs reveal that we are not consuming enough food.
Fluctuations in blood sugar levels/ Low energy:
For the body to function properly, it needs constant supply of glucose. Truth is that carbohydrates get converted to glucose and this would give us energy the moment e we eat food. Our blood sugar levels go down when we do not eat food. Here, the body is deprived of glucose. It could lead to headaches, low energy etc in us.
Constipation issues:
Starving or not eating enough foods could lead to constipation issues in us. It must be noted that lack of fibre intake could result in this issue. The stools would become hard and would not pass out easily.
Not able to sleep well:
When we do not eat enough food or starve then the brain would signal the body to secrete excess adrenaline and due to this we would not be able to sleep well in the night time.
Hair loss:
This is also one important sign that shows that we are not eating enough food. For the hairs to be healthy and strong, calcium, iron and mono-saturated fatty acids would be needed. Truth is that the scalp would become dry in the absence of these. The hair follicles would get loosened and there would be hair loss in us.
Anger and irritation:
By not eating enough food or skipping food, we could get anger and irritation etc. Truth is that when hungry the serotonin levels get reduced and this would lead to anger and irritations. So, please take care.
Constant hunger:
When we do not eat enough food then we would feel hungry throughout the day. This would lead to food cravings as the hormone levels change in us.
