Reverently called by all the people as Quaid-E-Millath
was Born on 5-6-1896 at Pettai. Tirunelvely Dist. He
became the Madras Presidency President of Indian Union
Muslim League in 1945 and rose to the level of All India
President in 1948. He made his mark as an excellent
Parliamentarian first as the member of the Legislative
Assembly and later as member of Parliament (Lok Sabha).
He left for his heavenly abode on 5-4-1972 and is laid
to rest in the Triplicane Grand Mosque Campus.
