MADRAS DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Madras Day will be celebrated as a month-long event with the celebrations beginning with a ‘photo walk for children on Sunday and will end with two short plays titled ‘Two tales of a city on August 29. Though some of the events are by invitation only, there are others that are open to all residents of this 371-year-old city.

TALENT SEARCH TEST
Sixth edition of state wide The Talent Search Test is a 30-minute scholastic aptitude test conducted jointly by AIMS and The Hindu Education plus, at schools until August 6. Based on the performance in the test students would be selected for participating in the workshop

LPG REFILL DELIVERY WILL BE ON CALL, AT EXTRA COST
The ‘preferred time LPG refill delivery scheme is being introduced by Indane [IOC} and Hindustan Petroleum [HP] as a customer care initiative in Chennai on Wednesday. The customers can choose the day and time delivery. The time slots for delivery on week days are: 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.; 8 a.m.
